First, let me say I was a little shocked to learn that there was over 11,000 pounds of stuff on this move!  Five and a half tons of a lifetime!  Needless to say, I was also taken back at the cost, but considering the effort involved, I was hoping everything was featherweight.

I want to thank you Kim for your effort in trying to do what you could to lower the price.  Given our situation, it was much appreciated despite the increase in cost resulting from the increase in weight.  You were very professional and helpful.

And I wish to thank Ebony for following up on both the confirmation and after the move.  I also appreciated your efforts.

But, the heart and soul of this move belongs to the crew... they were absolutely courteous, efficient and very professional.  They worked as a team and worked very hard both on the pick up of the household and unloading at our new location.  They were very friendly and easy to work with during this move and each of them deserves very high praise for a job very well done.

The only mishap was an heirloom piece of wicker (a chair) that belonged to my wife's mother.  There was a hole caused by something that pierced the wicker on the back of the chair.  My wife treasured this piece and she was disappointed that it happened.  We have not heard anything as yet from Interstate.

Overall, however, given this is the first time we've had to use a moving company, I would certainly recommend Interstate to anyone who has a need to move.  I sincerely feel that the crew is most deserving of your company's recognition for their efforts.  I know they were just doing their job, but they are the true ambassadors for Interstate and represented the company in the highest regard.

I want to thank you and both teams that worked the Rock Creek (Providence) model this week. Both crews were some of the best I’ve worked with – and were beyond efficient. And personally, thank you for staffing both days so that I wouldn’t have a problem getting home in “Maryland traffic” to pick up my daughter!  I was honestly a little worried about it earlier this week (especially with my husband being out of town) but there was zero stress from this move.
